Description A beautifully detailed antique Neoclassical cast iron fireplace summer cover surround, dating to the late 19th century. This elegant architectural piece features a classically inspired design with fluted columns, stylized capitals, and a richly ornamented frieze adorned with flowing floral and botanical motifs. This cover is in good antique condition with the wear typical of an old fireplace surround (as pictured). The outer/overall measurements are approximately 25-1/2″ wide, 30-1/4″ tall and projects 3″; the inner frame measures 20-3/8″ wide by 25″ tall.
